THE ROAD HOME ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ROUND 2 OF THE SMALL RENTAL PROPERTY PROGRAM

NEW ORLEANS, La., June 4, 2007 - The Road Home Small Rental Property program is opening Round 2 to both small rental property owners and nonprofit organizations on Tuesday, June 5. The program is hosting an event to announce this launch at the Westbank Housing Assistance Center (HAC), the program's newest center that provides a variety of Rental and Homeowner program services, including appointments for owner-occupant applicants who receive a conditional award under The Small Rental Property repair program and appointments for homeowners who are closing on their homeowner compensation grants. Road Home staff will announce new eligibility criteria and the available funding of up to $300 million. Representatives from the Office of Community Development, the Louisiana Recovery Authority and Louisiana Banker's Association will be on-hand to answer questions about the program.
