Administrative Assistant
Be a part of history in the making. The Road Home, a housing recovery program for Louisiana residents displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, seeks Administrative Assistants. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative and support related activities in support of The Road Home program. The Administrative Assistant will perform word processing and spreadsheet work, edit and type documents, maintain electronic and paper-based files, answer phones, open and distribute mail, screen incoming calls, schedule and set up meetings, and make travel arrangements.
The Administrative Assistant must have excellent typing skills, expert knowledge of personal computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; be proficient in performing Internet searches and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff. The Administrative Assistant must be able to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in French, Spanish, or Vietnamese is desirable.
This position is located in Baton Rouge, City of New Orleans, Lake Charles, and other locations including Cameron, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Terrebonne, and Vermilion. High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years administrative experience required. The candidate must be comfortable working in large teams and in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including the ability to perform some evening or weekend work if required. Compliance Auditor

The Compliance Auditor protects client interests by completing audits; ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations; provisions of grant agreement; contract covenants; and internal controls; recommending improvements in policies and procedures; operations and internal control structure. Guide the work of functional employees.
Duties:
- Accomplishes compliance work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, guiding employees.
- Meets work standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
- Prepares for audit by researching materials; formulating a plan of action.
- Design audit procedures and programs.

- Completes audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans to verify systems operate as specified and ensure the application operates as intended
- Identify and build reusable test data sets and scripts
- Test programs for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards
- Develop effective quality test measures to ensure robust revision of software prior to live runs
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for product evaluation to ascertain quality of software
- Analyze data for anomalies
- Perform duties as an individual contributor or team member with 100% hands-on work

Loan Reviewer/Underwriter II – Baton Rouge

- Perform regular and timely evaluations of loan documentation submitted by lenders. Assess project financial structure, feasibility, readiness, and compliance.
- Provide technical assistance and interpretation of Program rules and office procedures under policies of The Road Home.
- Review data from the participating lenders and internal databases on verification and eligibility determinations and provide advice or assistance as needed.
- Perform appeals functions and make recommendations to manager.

Qualifications:
- Four years experience with mortgage loans processing, underwriting, servicing or Originations.

Network Engineer - IT - Baton Rouge

This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

- Administer the overall SharePoint Portal Server implementation, including access rights, system settings, search settings, notifications, etc.
- Design and implement Windows SharePoint Services team rooms for Road2LA work teams.
- Design and implement portal areas and sub areas to meet Road2La program needs.
- Design and implement SharePoint templates.
- Identify open source or commercial SharePoint web parts that meet Road2LA program needs.
- Manage SharePoint content.
- Maintain user-friendly navigational structure.
- Provide User Support and Training.
- Work with content managers from Road2LA program teams to identify their collaboration, information dissemination, and business process support needs.
- Create custom lists and libraries and content; utilize XML metadata for automated document creation for various departments.
- Develop custom web applications and solutions for use in auditing, tracking, and reporting.
- Create custom workflows using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio .Net, and Windows Workflow Foundation.
- Assist end-users with development of business processes to improve departmental workflow.
- Manage projects involving the Integration of MOSS with 3rd part LOB applications, and develop connection definitions for those apps.
- Create custom reports based on multiple data sources.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or business.
- Equivalent work experience can be substituted for Degree
- One to two years of SharePoint experience required
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology with strong Microsoft background.
- Web development experience using the NET (VB or C#) desired.
- Prior experience and knowledge of administering MOSS 2007 or SPS 2003, WSS, W2k3 and AD essential.
Share Point Designer, FrontPage, JavaScript, Visual Studio, NET, VB.Net, C#, ASP, SML, CAML, XSLT preferred.
